PACEOS appoints 2013 board of trustees

<p>The Philippine Association of Convention&sol;Exhibition Organizers and Suppliers&comma; Inc&period; &lpar;PACEOS&rpar; announced the appointment of its board of trustees and committee chairmen for 2013&period; A non-stock&comma; non-profit organization&comma; PACEOS aims to develop and promote the Philippines as a leading meetings&comma; incentives&comma; conventions and exhibitions&sol;events &lpar;MICE&rpar; destination&period;<&excl;--more--><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Monette Ituralde-Hamlin&comma; founder and president of TeamAsia and distinguished events organizer&comma; was re-elected to continue leading PACEOS’s efforts in raising the professionalism and operational standards of the local industry as president&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez&comma; Jr&period; led the induction of officers&comma; and was presented with a copy of The Events Planning Manual jointly published by PACEOS and the Philippine MICE Academy&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Marisa Nallana of Philippine Exhibits and Themeparks Corporation &lpar;PETCO&rpar; was named chairman&semi; Jing Lagandaon of Global-Link MP Events Int’l&period; Inc&period;&comma; vice president for conventions and director for programs and events&semi; Joel Pascual of Premier Events Plus Group&comma; Inc&period;&comma; vice president for exhibitions and director for research&semi; Dexter Deyto of SMX Convention Center&comma; vice president for suppliers and director of ethics&semi; Adelia Majaba of Danex Signs&comma; Inc&period;&comma; secretary general and director for publicity and promotions&semi; Pamela Pascual of World Trade Center Metro Manila&comma; treasurer and director for ways and means&semi; Dinah Gonzalez of Philippine International Convention Center &lpar;PICC&rpar;&comma; auditor and director of membership&semi; and Orly Ballesteros&comma; director for education and assistant director for ways and means&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>With over 40 member organizations composed of leading professional event&comma; exhibition and convention organizers&comma; PACEOS co-organized this year’s world-class MICE conference &lpar;MICECON&rpar; with the Department of Tourism &lpar;DOT&rpar; through its Tourism Promotions Board &lpar;TPB&rpar;&comma;
