(Manila, Philippines) – Wholesale and distribution company Safety Center of the Philippines Inc. (SCPI) has appointed Gurango Software Corporation (GSC) to implement Microsoft Dynamics GP, a scalable enterprise resource planning solution that automates business processes, enables multi-user functionality, and increases overall efficiency.

“As a company involved in distribution, significant data are required from the accounting department, including inventory balances, selling prices, sales orders, and invoices, among others,” said Benjamin Tan, president and chief executive of SCPI. “To ensure business continuity, our teams needed to access and accomplish these different documents as efficiently as possible.”

The automation of sales orders, invoice processing, and updating of price lists addressed the inefficiencies the company experienced with its manual system. The solution also enabled SCPI to generate reports in real time, allowing for more meaningful and easier cross-analyses. “The solution supported our goal of having a more efficient financial and accounting system that will readily provide highly accurate and reliable information for planning, policy development and decision-making,” Tan said.

“As a Microsoft-dedicated provider of Dynamics ERP and CRM solutions, we strive to help our client achieve their business goals. SCPI now has the advantage of a very efficient financial management and accounting system that provides timely and accurate information for management’s policy formulation and decision-making,” said Joey Gurango, founder and managing director of GSC.

GSC has received numerous awards and distinctions, including the Microsoft Dynamics Partner of the Year for three years in a row (2008 – 2010). GSC has offices in the Philippines, Singapore, and Australia. It also offers business software services ranging from financial and human capital management to customer service.
